My “Dream job” and first career steps
What really is my dream job and what do I currently want to do are two fundamental questions that not only I should be thinking about.

When I think of what I would want to do for a dream job, I can think of so many things that I would want to do and hope to eventually do one day. I feel like this is such an important question that could have so many different answers depending on the person. Right now, as I stand in my master’s program, I can see myself working for a creative marketing agency or in-house in as a marketing and communications creative and I think that is something I can see in my future currently. Doing something like that is something I know I would enjoy and have had similar experiences in the past at Quinnipiac and outside of QU. I see that as contributing to my dream job and would not mind working in-house in a marketing department in a position that I could incorporate my photography, videography and graphic design skills. I don’t know what the exact title would be but if I could do anything related to that for a professional career that is something that I know I would significantly enjoy and be happy doing.
Creating any type of content in a setting like that for a well-known and famous brand whether in entertainment or sports, would be something I would love to do. Creating content is something that has been my passion for several years now and is something that I love doing and working alongside fellow creative people helping to advance a brand and similar ideas is something I would love to continue doing and learn much more about as I begin my career soon. I think ultimately, doing something in the creative industry in a marketing department or something similar for a famous brand would be the end goal but as I begin my career, I can see it starting in a marketing department for a lesser-known brand or company or a marketing agency.
It will be interesting to see how this changes over time and what the first steps to my career will be as time goes on.
